Christland Mission Schools which comprises of nursery, primary and secondary is an educational Arm of Holy Ghost Day Bible church inc. located in the city of Umuahia, precisely Amuzukwu layout Abia State, Nigeria.
The establishment of Christland Mission Schools both nursery, primary and secondary schools was not done on the commercialization ground or for profit making and for gain of money as some do, but purely to train children in the way of the Lord for their costly and needed salvation.
Prior to the birth/establishment of Christland Mission Schools in Abia State, the church Holy Ghost Day Bible church which is the mother of Christland Mission Schools, embarked on children deliverance, praying and delivering children even adults from satanic attack, influence and manipulations. It was in the cause and process of the deliverance that evil spirits spoke out through those children saying
- Their parents covenanted them to us (demons speaking).
- Their friends initiated them, and handed them over to us (demons) for control and torture.
- They (children) were introduced into witchcraft through food by neighbors.
- And that some ancestral spirits are operational in them (children) as a result of some ancestral covenants by their fathers.
- Those demons said, they were responsible for the untimely death of children.
- Those evil spirits continued that they are responsible for the misbehaving of children.
- Those evil spirits also said that teachers in some schools are their representatives as well working for them. Then when we heard the true confession of those evil spirits we marveled and said oh God help this Generation for evil has entered families
After that we began to ponder over what we heard from those evil spirits. God started ministering to us the importance of having a Mission School that will have born again teachers who will be dedicated to the things of God and fear God vehemently. Teachers who will take the children as their own will be employed in the school and that the school fees will be affordable to parents so as to have their children train in the bible way.
Therefore, the General Overseer of Holy Ghost Day Bible Church inc. Bishop Chikezie Emmanuel Elekwa took a prophetic and urgent step in ensuring he obeys God to the later and to fulfill God’s mandate by establishing a bible based school called Christland Mission Schools, in the year 2003 for the Nursery and Primary while the Secondary was in 2006.
The bible says: train up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old, he will not depart from it; Proverb 22:6. And verse 15 of the same chapter says foolishness is bound in the heart of a child but the rod of correction will drive it away from him. You will never regret bringing your child/ward to Christland Mission Schools International.
Beloved, Christland Mission School is a training college for children. We train them academically, spiritually and physically. Pastors from the church conduct prayers, deliverance and preaching of God’s word to the children. The rod of correction we use on the children for effective academic and spiritual work is the word of God. So we urge you to bring your child/ward to Christland Mission Schools from any part of the world for his/her education. We also have Boarding facilities if you desire to have him/her as a boarder.

MISSION STATEMENT
Pointing the youth world towards Christ, both in character and learning
WHAT MAKES A SCHOOL CHRISTIAN?
A christian School is far more than an educational programme with religious coating. It is not having prayer in the classroom. Rather a school that is true Christian is first of all centered on the authority of the Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ. Every subject is taught with wonder of God’s power and love. The interpretations of facts in the scheme of work makes the difference between a life that is being prepared only for time and one that is being prepared for eternity. The Christian school seeks to train its students to view the whole of life from God’s perspective, not just from man’s point of view. Here in Christland Mission Schools, we have three set of curriculum. The Federal, the State and the modified Christian oriented curriculum which put God first before every other thing. It is here you found out that every subject is rooted in the scriptures.
The products of Christian school should be conformed to the image (likeness) of Jesus, to think and act like him (Romans 8:29). The school accomplishes this goal by helping the students to develop a “biblical filter system”. To train students to spiritually sensitive requires teachers who themselves are spiritually attuned. “The Christian school is not better than and, indeed, not different from, its teacher because at best the school is its teachers” Jay Adams.
In one way or the other, every teacher expresses the convictions he lives by, whether they be spiritually positive or negative. For that reason a student after he has trained, will be like his teacher – in terms of academic knowledge and life style. A teacher has the very best hours of a child’s life-when the child is awake, alert and receptive. A whole teacher produces a whole student.
The Christian school recognizes that the parents on whose shoulders rest the training of their children have delegated the responsibility of formal education of their children to the school. The Christian school therefore works with the parents and the church to accomplish this.
HOW DIFFERENT SHOULD TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL BE?
The Christian teacher should be different as light is from darkness. The teachers or students from a Christian school rank high in standardized testing; because the teachers have vision and they work towards accomplishing such goals. The Christian School should graduate students who are found worthy in academics, character and spirituality.
The teacher in a Christian school ought to be led by the spirit; for that is what makes him learn to “keep his heart with all diligence” for “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he”. Jesus puts it this way: “a good man out of a good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure in his heart bringeth forth evil things”(Mathew 12:35). What are you feeding your soul? – Nourishing food – or garbage? See Psalm 1:2.
In guarding and guiding the students’ affections against that which is unholy, we adult must lead the way. The importance of the teacher in developing the students is immense. The Christian teacher should be as well qualified academically as possible, but even more importantly he should be a committed believer who wants to grow in obedience; one who senses that God wants him in a Christian school to help develop the next generation in spirit and in character. Working in a Christian school is a vision and therefore the Christian teachers work towards accomplishing the vision.
On the other hand, the students from a Christian school such as ours are equally different. They have strong confidence in God and in his ability. Examination malpractice is very far. They are developed to be conscious of God in every circumstance, every time and every place. God consciousness involves a constant awareness of him with the goal of allowing him to determine our every thought word, decision, action. It is not though a state of perfection, but a matter of direction.
For young people, developing this awareness of God’s presence, developing biblical views of life is facilitated by a Christian school in which Jesus and his Word are central to all its activities. Another way of making Jesus real to our students is by emphasizing talking to him (prayer). Prayer is sensing God’s presence moment by moment, and we should allow prayer to permit our school atmosphere.
Giving bad reports. Talking about someone behind his back. Saying something negative about a teacher, a parent, a student, the principal, the administrator or the director should not even be mentioned in a Christian school. For it hinders and destroys the work of God (Mathew 18:15, Proverb 16:28).
Gossip destroys friendship. It builds insecurity and suspicion within groups. But if we practice love, honestly, we will edify one another, build one another up. For love builds security and sense of loyalty. The closer we are to God the easier it is for us to attain the lofty goals of a Christian school. Here in Christland Mission Schools, we are raising a generation of leaders that will change the word for God.
